After completing a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration in Seattle, Karen followed her heart to Madrid, Spain, where – plot twist! – she parlayed her love of celebrity news into a job as a writer with HELLO! Online She eventually became a senior writer for HELLO! magazine, writing cover stories for both HELLO! and ¡HOLA! and interviewing stars and designers like Ralph & Russo, Patrick Demspey, Maria Sharapova and Diane von Furstenberg. After serving as an editor for HELLO!‘s seasonal fashion, beauty and bridal specials, she returned to her digital roots with HOLA! USA as Digital Editorial Director.
